In addition to on-going series programs, the MetroEast Production staff is busy videotaping many community events each month. This year Troutdale celebrated its 38th annual summer festival with a parade and a variety of other family activities. This program features the parade, hosted by Paula Goldie and Casey Ryan, and highlights of the entertainment, food, and family fun at Glenn Otto park.

Every year the Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association hosts a delegation from Kaohsiung Taiwan during the Rose Festival. This concert at David Douglas Performing Arts Center showcases music and dance presented by exchange students from Shu-Te High School.

Gresham Center for the Arts Plaza Grand Opening
On June 6th, Gresham celebrated the opening of the new plaza at the Center for the Arts. The plaza is the first phase of the complex which will eventually include a proscenium theater and event center.
The event featured live music from "Point Juncture WA", "The Dimes", "Horse Feathers", and "Loch Lomond", as well as a performance by drama students from Centennial High School, and a variety of family activities.
