What is Local?
As we get closer to defining what our program offerings will sound like, here's a list of how we look at ways of defining what is 'local':
Music written by local artists, performed by local artists, played in a local venue
Music played by local artists in a local venue
Music written by local artists, played in a local venue
Music written by local artists, played by local artists in a non-local venue
Music played in a local venue by non-local musicians
Music that influenced a local musician
Music that was influenced by a local musician
Music that was came from a local recording studio
Music that sounds like it came from Portland or belongs in Portland
Music that in some way reflects local values, history, or landscape
Comments and feedback are most welcome! Send an email to pd@kzme.fm - thanks!
