Mission: Micro-Mobile!

On Saturday, August 6th, students will meet at MetroEast for 4 hours of classroom instruction on the set-up and operation of the Micro-Mobile, the "portable studio" unit designed to record events like concerts and sports contests.
Then, on Monday August 8th, 15th, and 22nd, the students will shoot 3 actual concerts offered by the "Music Monday" series at the Gresham Center for the Arts Plaza. The 3 shoots will consist of on-the-job instruction by MetroEast staff, and then participants will rotate through various crew positions on each of the productions.
The production days will run from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and students must be able to attend all 4 parts.
The goal of this training track is to provide students with the skills and confidence to produce their own mobile productions after completion of the series, and to create a "production team" that can work together on other shoots.
Because of the limited number of positions available, students interested in participating in this training track must submit an application to be considered for the class. If you would like to receive an application, please contact:
