Shu-te High School Dance Performance
MetroEast Community Media has been a proud sponsor of the Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association for 10 years. Each year David Douglas High School coordinates housing for Shu-Te High School students in a partnership centered around the performing arts.
The Taiwanese girls from Shu-Te high school, among other things, participate in the dragon boat races at the annual Portland Rose Festival. MetroEast provides footage from the race as a part of our full coverage of their annual partnership performance at David Douglas High School. This performance consists of traditional Taiwanese music and dance.
This year, the Dragon Boat Races took place on June 13th and the performance at David Douglas High School is on June 14th. The replay schedule for this event is below. For more information, see the contact information below.
